Accountants move to Stirlin court, Saxilby Enterprise Park

Spence Accounting started trading six years ago and need new premises to serve their growing client base. Director, Colette Spence, commented, ‘We specialise in small to medium clients and have in excess of 250 clients for whom we provide bookkeeping, payroll, year end accounts, taxation advice, management accounts and business planning services’.

The business has purchased a two storey, 2,000 sq ft building which offers high quality office space and potential for future expansion. The building was constructed by Stirlin Developments Limited and Managing Director, James Kirby said, ‘We very much welcome Spence Accounting, Colette and all of her employees to our successful development at Saxilby Enterprise Park’. Since 2010 Stirlin has developed and sold freehold in excess of 23,000 sq ft of commercial accommodation to local businesses on the Saxilby Enterprise Park development. This includes some 18,000 sq ft of high specification office space which currently provides over 75 people with employment.

James added, ‘We at Stirlin are very proud of our achievements at Saxilby Enterprise Park and are pleased to be associated with such a diverse place of Enterprise. We continue to support local business with our latest phase of development which aims to offer small businesses freehold space at an affordable price’.

The sale was handled by Chartered Surveyors, Hodgson Elkington. Partner Dan Race commented, ‘We were pleased to deal with the negotiations between Stirlin Developments and Spence Accounting, clearly another successful deal at Saxilby Enterprise Park. We are already seeing strong interest in the next phase of development on the site which offers businesses the opportunity to purchase their own freehold premises from just £63,000’.
