Alder King appointed to find occupier for Knightstone Housing’s prestigious HQ building

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Alder King appointed to find occupier for Knightstone Housing’s prestigious HQ buildingConstruction of Knightstone Housing’s state of the art 40,000 sq ft headquarters building at Weston Gateway Business Park in Weston-super-Mare will complete later this month, bringing to a close one of the largest office construction projects outside London in the UK.  Over 250 staff will relocate into the prestigious three storey office building in October.

Knightstone has now instructed property consultancy Alder King to dispose of the surplus second floor of the property which is one of the highest specification office buildings in North Somerset.

The second floor provides 13,350 sq ft of Grade A specification office accommodation, available as a whole or in smaller suites to meet occupier demand.  It comes with generous on-site car parking, air conditioning and a raft of energy saving features.

Simon Price, partner and head of agency at Alder King, says: “Knightstone’s new HQ has been designed to an exceptionally high standard.  There is currently very little open plan office accommodation in Weston so we anticipate there will be strong interest from occupiers keen to secure accommodation in such a high quality building.”

Anne Duff of Knightstone added: “We are very excited at the prospect of moving into our new building.  It provides us with an excellent location and easily accessible local facilities.”

The building also benefits from excellent links to the national road and rail networks.  It directly fronts the A370 dual carriageway and sits within 400m of Junction 21 of the M5.  It is also within walking distance of Worle Parkway Station which provides a wide range of links into the national rail network.
