Bidwells' BSA at full strength as market improves

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Bidwells' BSA at full strength as market improvesBidwells, Milton Keynes' largest surveying firm, has recruited office specialist Holly Dawson into the Business Space Agency team.

Bidwells is the UK's leading regional property consultancy and has been operating for over 10 years in Milton Keynes.   Since relocating to a new larger office in Silbury Boulevard in 2011 the firm has expanded and can now offer a wide range of agency and professional services to clients, covering core commercial, residential, building consultancy, planning and rural sectors.

Holly Dawson's arrival strengthens an already highly successful BSA team.  Holly brings with her a wealth of experience boasting over 13 years specialising in the Milton Keynes office agency market.

On her appointment Holly commented "For me Bidwells has so much to offer, I was won over by the impressive client profile and the powerful brand. Not only have they built a firm foundation through being established over 170 years but they are still a progressive and dynamic partnership"

Commenting on Holly's arrival Bidwells' commercial head Roger Yates stated "Holly is joining us at a very exciting time for Milton Keynes.  There is undoubtedly acceleration within the occupational markets, enquiry levels and viewing frequencies are up significantly and we predict that this will translate into strong take up during the remainder of 2013."  Yates added "looking beyond overall availability, the supply of Grade A space is tight and I anticipate that we will begin to see some upward pressure on headline rents as occupiers compete for the best space."

Confidence is clearly flowing back into the town as a number of landlords are now committing to major speculative refurbishment programmes. This, combined with the fact that Milton Keynes is only 35 minutes by train from Central London, should enable the town to compete for some of the larger national and regional requirements that are emerging.

Could we soon be seeing an evolving skyline as the demand for office space drives a possible need for design and build. There hasn’t been a speculative development since the Pinnacle in 2008 – could 2014 be the year?
