Gestalt at Work Finds New Home in Coates Crescent

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Gestalt at Work Finds New Home in Coates CrescentGestalt at Work, the Edinburgh-based psychotherapy practice, has established a new home in 5 Coates Crescent - a grade A listed building in Edinburgh’s West End.

Gestalt at Work has signed a five year rental agreement including a three year break option with landlord GAT Investment Ltd to occupy 956 sq ft of second floor office space in the refurbished Georgian  Townhouse.

Having relocated from Rutland Square, the move to Coates Crescent provides Gestalt at Work with more room to expand following a successful few years for the practice.

5 Coates Crescent, designed and built by Robert Brown in 1823, comprises four storeys and lower ground floor. Other occupiers in the Georgian townhouse include Invicta PA and Smith Brands.

Coates Crescent is located in Edinburgh’s traditional West End office and financial district within a few minutes walk of Melville Street, George Street, Princes Street and The Exchange.

Lambert Smith Hampton acted for Gestalt at Work and Jones Lang LaSalle acted for GAT Investment Ltd.

Colin White at Gestalt at Work added: “Lambert Smith Hampton has proved to be very valuable to us in the process of identifying and procuring the lease on these premises. We are very satisfied with the support and service they have provided”.

Craig Watson, Associate Director at Jones Lang LaSalle commented: “This letting demonstrates that there is still strong demand for refurbished, well priced townhouse stock in the West End. Over the last ten years, eighty one per cent of market activity has been focused on deals of 5,000 sq ft or less, which is the typical size of a whole townhouse.”

Rachel Naylor, Business Space, Lambert Smith Hampton said: “5 Coates Crescent is located in close proximity to my client’s existing office and provides high quality refurbished accommodation close to all major transport routes within which their business can grow”.
