Kris Broome, of St David’s Hospice Care, said: “The response from everyone in Newport to this, the first marathon the charity has staged in the city, has been simply phenomenal. We wish Jodie and her three running mates and indeed everyone else taking part next month, the very best of luck in the half marathon and look forward to welcoming them all back when they cross the finish line at Spytty Stadium.”
