Kalsi Plastics move to Seelys Park

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Kalsi Plastics move to Seelys ParkAn award winning, Birmingham home-grown manufacturer of high quality plastic building products has given a huge vote of confidence to the city by acquiring an 85,000 sq ft facility at Seelys Park in Tysley.  Kalsi Plastics was established in the 1990’s in inner city Birmingham and has gone on to receive numerous external accolades, including the Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 and the inner city 100 awards.  50 staff will relocate from Kalsi’s current facilities in Tomey Road, Tysley.

Hab Kalsi, one of the founding directors of Kalsi Plastics, was instrumental in the search for new premises:

“Our company has gone from strength to strength over the last 20 years, and we see this new location as giving us the base from which to accommodate the next phase of our expansion plans.  Kalsi Plastics is well positioned to make the most of the opportunities emerging from the economic upturn, notably in the construction sector where many of our products are destined. We have a long-serving and dedicated workforce, who are looking forward to moving to new premises shortly.”

Chris Keye of GBR Phoenix Beard is one of the joint letting agents at Seelys Park, alongside Jones Lang LaSalle:

“The industrial property market is witnessing a notable resurgence in the West Midlands, explained largely by the improving fortunes of the regional manufacturing sector.  GBR Phoenix Beard’s industrial agency team has its fullest pipeline ever, which gives a barometer of growing optimism amongst long-established manufacturers, as well as inward investors.  Seelys Park is ideally located for light manufacturers, for whom access to skilled labour and transport to customers across the UK are of paramount importance.”
