wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Landmark Cardiff Bay building, Cambrian Buildings, lands two more leases via LSH and SavillsThe landmark Cardiff Bay property Cambrian Buildings on Mount Stuart Square is proving to be a prime business location with two organisations signing leases in order to accommodate their future plans.

Literature Wales, the national charitable organisation, has taken 2,555 sq ft of fourth floor space on a ten year lease while Active Quote, already based in the building, is to double its space through an additional 2,289 sq ft.

According to joint marketing agents, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and Savills, Active Quote, a rapidly growing health insurance comparison website company, now occupies the whole of the first floor taking the lease for a four year term.

Cambrian Buildings is a striking Grade II five storey office development constructed at the turn of the 20th century. The owners London and County have extensively refurbished the building to provide a high quality contemporary business environment.

Other tenants include The Older People’s Commission and the National Union of Students. Suites are available in a variety of sizes starting from 1,000 sq ft upwards to 4,500 sq ft.

David Blyth of LSH comments: “Cambrian Buildings provides good quality modern office space set behind a period facade and is in easy walking distance of the popular retail and leisure amenities of Cardiff Bay as well as its railway station.”

Gary Carver of Savills adds: “There is a good level of interest in the rest of the building, and with only two suites remaining we are able to offer competitive and lease terms”.
