New additions to the Cartwright King family

Julia has joined Cartwright King from Flint Bishop with expertise in all areas of family law. She provides pragmatic advice in relation to divorce, separation and associated financial matter and has dealt with cases involving significant assets and issues of complexity. She also provides legal advice regarding children disputes.

Julia is a member of Resolution, the national organisation of family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.

Amrit has recently qualified into family law and her particular expertise lies in privately funded divorce and ancillary relief as well as assisting on complex financial cases. She also deals in children matters, pre-marital agreements, property disputes between cohabiters, separation agreements and domestic violence injunctions.

Speaking of her new role, Julia said: “I am really pleased to be joining the firm and its expanding family team. There is now a really strong family law department at Cartwright King and I’m particularly looking to forward to working alongside former colleague Fiona Lazenby, a highly regarded and very experienced specialist in family litigation. I firmly believe that the firm’s strategy of focusing on specific areas of the law and building strong teams in those areas is the right one. I am sure that, given our combined skills and expertise, we will be able to continue to command a leading role in the Midlands, with a strong team of 13 family specialists.”
