Patrick Delcol appointed Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate for Central and Eastern Europe

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Patrick Delcol appointed Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate for Central and Eastern EuropePatrick Delcol has been appointed by BNP Paribas Real Estate as Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe, who started on the 1st October 2013. He will be responsible for the Transaction, Consulting, Valuation and Property Management business lines, as well as the organisation’s development across the CEE Region. This appointment is another step towards BNP Paribas Real Estate building a strong position in this part of Europe, comparably to their leading presence as an advisory firm in the key European Real Estate markets.

Patrick Delcol has been working in the real estate sector for over 20 years now. In the course of this career he held managing posts in renowned international organisations, which included advisory firms, developers and construction companies.

Based in Poland for almost 18 years, he started his career as Commercial Manager for the BESIX Group (an international construction company) before he became Member of the Board at Centrum Finansowe Puławska and Centrum Banku Śląskiego. In 2002 he was appointed CEO at Centrum Development and Investment (previously DTC Real Estate), where he remained for the subsequent six years. He then joined the ING Real Estate Group, as Development Director and Member of the Board. He consequently worked for DTZ as Country Head for Poland. Patrick Delcol is additionally one of the founders and President of the Polish Council of Shopping Centers, the Polish partner of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). The new Chief Executive Officer, BNP Paribas Real Estate for CEE, holds an MBA degree obtained from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. He is fluent in French, English and Polish.
