Shortland Penn + Moore appoints Andrew Oliver

wantspacegotspace.co.uk - Shortland Penn + Moore appoints Andrew OliverCommercial property specialist Shortland Penn + Moore has made another key appointment as it looks to grow its presence across the West Midlands, particularly in Birmingham.

The company, which has been predominantly a Coventry firm for most of its history, launched a Birmingham office this year as it looks to expand its coverage.

Former BNP Paribas Real Estate and Chesterton valuer Andrew Oliver has now joined Shortland Penn + Moore as senior commercial valuer to work alongside directors David Penn and Jonathan Moore, as well as David Allen who moved to the firm in July.

Oliver has chalked up more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial property world, mainly out of Birmingham and will bring all of that knowledge and expertise to his new role.

“I am very pleased to have joined such a progressive firm in Shortland Penn + Moore,” he said.

“Over 34 years, I have built up great knowledge and have amassed countless contacts in the commercial property world and I will use that to help the company expand its operations, working across both offices.

“I think a ‘recovery’ in the market is still some way off but I have certainly already seen a lift in the valuations work, which is positive.”

David Penn, managing director of Shortland Penn + Moore, said: “Our professional services are expanding and Andrew is one of the most experienced and best valuers in the Midlands and beyond, and the quality of his work fits well with our standards.

“He will add great value to Shortland Penn + Moore and our clients, such as Lloyds TSB, RBS/Natwest, Handelsbanken and Clydesdale/Yorkshire. We are delighted to have him with us.”
