DESCRIPTION
BG Futures is Bishop Grosseteste University College’s brand new business and enterprise hub.
Originally opened in 2007 as The Sky Centre, the business and enterprise centre is currently undergoing a £1.8 million extension and renovation project thanks to funding from ERDF (European Regional Development Fund), Lincolnshire Enterprise, Lincolnshire County Council and BG itself. The new Futures hub, which is due to open in January 2012, will provide 15 quality, affordable, business start-up units, state of the art conference facilities and exhibition space as well as in-situ functions such as business support.
Work on the new BGFutures Business and Enterprise Centre is now well and truly under way. The work sees the original Sky Centre being extended upwards and outwards to create a vibrant environment for business start-ups.
The Business Development Office will also be co-located on site to provide that all important support that new businesses need.

FACILITIES
Keen to offer a space that is suitable and affordable for you and your business, BGFutures will be able to provide three levels of support:
Virtual Office Facilities.
Hot Desk Facilities.
Business Units (various sizes).
Prices are based on a cost of £150 per m2 per annum exclusive of V.A.T and small business rates.
The new Sky Centre is due to open in January 2012, with reservations for units available from September 2011 onwards.
We provide three levels of start-up support. Our virtual office facility is ideal for those just starting out, providing a postal address and secure mail box facility. Our hot-desk facility allows those who wish to use office space on an occasional basis to have use of a PC and broadband access. Finally, we also offer business pods for those businesses who need a more permanent office space. All of our incubation tenants will also be able to access a range of other support facilities including that directly from the Business Development Manager. Our newly extended and renovated centre will be open from January 2012 with reservations being taken now.

TERMS
The Tenancy :-
* Is only available for pre-start and infancy businesses.
* For a maximum of 2 years.
* Is based on an 'easy-in, easy-out' model with a notice period of one month for both parties.
* Is subject to a successful application process.

HOT DESK
BGFutures Hot Desk facility is available for all of our virtual tenants as well as businesses, who may require a fixed workstation for a specified number of hours a week/month.
With access to the internet, this shared facility has availabilityfor up to four people at any one time.
