Solihull is situated 9 miles south-east of Birmingham. Monkspath / Cranmore
These two established estates are home to much of the Borough's industrial activity (excluding Land Rover), although recently there has been increasing redevelopment of office space on former industrial sites. Located 2.5 km along the A34 from Junction 4 of the M42, these sites in South Shirley are affectively fully developed. Cranmore Industrial Estate includes 7 hectares (25,000 square metres) of industrial and warehousing space and 9 hectares (43,000 square metres) of high quality office space supporting 1,500 jobs. Monkspath Business Park covers an area of approximately 9 hectares and consists of 40 warehouse units supporting1000 jobs. Occupiers include Siemens and Paragon.
Elmdon Trading Estate
Elmdon Trading Estate lies adjacent to the Airport and International Railway Station and offers industrial and warehouse units. The extension to the estate, Birmingham International Park will provide a total of 43 acres of warehousing, light industrial and office space. It is already home to TNT Automotive Logistics and Sonic Communications International.
Solihull Business Park
The 25 acre park is being developed in several phases, with the first headquarters building already in occupation by Enterprise Inns. The M42 is approximately one mile via the A34 giving direct access to the country's motorway network. An established landscaped park for high quality office and development, the park is situated near Birmingham International Airport and Junction 6 of the M42. Blythe Valley Park
